Mitigation Fan Warranty (applies to all fans) |
Subject to applicable consumer protection
legislation, RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc. warrants all of
our fans to be free from defects in material and workmanship for
a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. During
the first three (3) years RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc. will
replace any product that fails due to defects in either material or
workmanship.
Warranty is contingent on installation being
performed in accordance with the instructions provided.
Warranty does not apply where damages occur due to improper wiring
or installation. This warranty does not apply where repairs or
alterations have been made or attempted by others, or where the unit
has been abused or misused. CAUTION! You must install
a rain-cap or 180 degree elbow at the discharge point of the pipe
above the fan, especially during cold weather (less than 30 degrees
F). This will avoid the problem of rain water turning to ice
inside the fan housing and causing the motor to lock, preventing it
from rotating. Do not "turn the fan off" or otherwise cut
power to the fan in cold weather as this will result in fan failure
and void any and all warranties.
Warranty does not apply to damage or failure
caused by acts of God, or when the RAM/GAM Engineering Services,
Inc. label has been removed, or its control number or date of
manufacture has been removed or altered. Warranty does not
include damage in shipment unless the damage is due to the
negligence of RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc. Please
inspect package contents immediately upon receipt. If any
damage is noted, notify the carrier immediately and file a claim
with the carrier. RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc. is not
responsible for installation or removal costs associated with this
warranty. In no case is RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc.
liable beyond repair or replacement of the defective product, FOB
RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE
DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE NOT VALID.
For service under this warranty, contact your
installer or the source from which you purchased the product.
DO NOT RETURN DIRECTLY TO RAM/GAM ENGINEERING SERVICES, INC.
WITHOUT PROPER AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.
For factory return you
must

Have a return authorization number. This
may be obtained by calling the distributor from whom the fan was
purchased. Please have bill of sale available.

The return authorization number must be clearly
written on the outside of the carton, or the carton will be
refused.

All products being returned must be shipped
prepaid and be accompanied by a copy of the bill of sale.

The product will be repaired or replaced at the
discretion of RAM/GAM Engineering Services, Inc. and returned to
the customer. No credit will be issued.
